KnitRiot Strikes Homeless Shelter →
domestitch: “Just before dusk, the anonymous group threw a blank tarp against a wall, tied up strands of rope, and hung knitted beanies, scarves, and blankets with clothes pins. As soon they created the installation, they vanished without a trace, except the note “For You! Warmly, KnitRiot” at the base of the wall.” Yesssss!!!!!!! Love this…

It’s been a while since my last post!! I’ve been so busy since the start of December. I wanted to update on the homeless charity drive that I hosted - overall it has been a lovely experience to see how many caring charity crafters there are out there. YOU ROCK!! I collected lots of warm items, wrapped and tagged them with little Xmas cards, and personally delivered them to the shelter...

Today’s plan: wrapping the donated warm items that I have received so far for the homeless in my community! I’m using green and red raffia string tied off with a cute greeting card with the message, “Handmade just for you. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.” in French, of course! Let’s see how they turn out… :) Anyone have a charity project they are working...
