Project Craftivism |
Craft + Activism = Craftivism= Changing the world & reaching out one person (human & non-human) at a time through craftivism and art. These are the projects that I get up to in my craftivism...all my finished projects are veganized in order to be both human & non-human-friendly. Know of any projects? Submit them! No? Edited (Easier) Hen Sweater/Jumper Knitted Pattern:
A friend and I have edited the edited Ravelry knitted pattern to make it a bit easier to read for newbies and more experienced knitters alike than the one on the Little Hen Rescue website. Crocheters & those experienced in sewing, check out my previous posts for patterns and Join in! :)
Amend the edited Ravelry pattern as follows:
FRONT
-If using buttons instead of velcro, cross out lines 7, 8, 9, 10.
-Replace as:
7. K3, BO4, K until last 7, BO4, K3
8. K3, CO4, Purl until last 7, CO4, K3
8b. K across (additional line not in original pattern)
9. BO 10sts, P to last 14, Knit 14
10. BO 10sts, K across
10b. K4, P to last 4, K4 (additional line not in original pattern)
Continue pattern as is…
NECK
-You will be knitting back and forth on one side at a time. Work on first 12 sts and cut yarn as requested by pattern (#17). Make sure to leave ~ 6in tail to weave back in and secure yarn.
-Follow pattern and rejoin yarn as told by pattern using single strand attached to ball of yarn.
In this section, when purling and asked to increase (inc1), do a purl increase.
BACK
- kbf means m1 (do a knit stitch increase by 1)
Other Notes
-Garter stitch for 4 beginning and 4 ending stitches throughout the whole pattern.
Let me know if you find anything else that needs to be amended or clarified.
