Part of craftivism is considering and working towards diminishing your consumerism/consumption impact. Why not try making something instead of buying it? I don’t think there’s anything better than receiving something that someone actually put time, effort, and love into making. I also enjoy the making process. The best part may just be picking the perfect pattern for that special someone.
One of my colleagues is having a baby soon, so I am making her some baby booties with this pretty blue-green toned yarn. The pattern is called “sweet baby booties” from Ravelry.
